I've been a family story enthusiast since I was a child — but I'll be honest with you: huge family trees overwhelm me. Pages of names and dates and charts never quite made the past feel real.

What changed things for me was thinking about people in terms of how they actually lived — the specific moment in history they inhabited, the world they woke up in every morning, the things they had no choice about and the things they chose anyway. That's when ancestors stopped being names on a page and became people I wanted to know.

Locket Casts exists because I believe that's how everyone should get to experience their family history. Not as a document. As a story.
